Vol. 23  (4) | 1/27/2023

Take a few minutes and go through one of your sample copies of the market or markets you sell.  If you don’t have a book handy, get online and look at the e-book.

The 2024 books are being prepared as we speak and if there are businesses in the book that have closed we need to update the files. On the flipside, if there are new businesses that have opened NOW is the time to contact them. Remember this takes TIME to reach the correct decision maker or person in authority to go through the terms of the contract and coupon requirements.

If you take a few minutes NOW to help identify these things it will help us improve YOUR book and make it easier to sell next Fall. If you have merchants to be added or removed, please send an email to sales@savearound.com and they can assist.

Gather as much information as you can as this will only help expedite the process. (Contact name, title, email address, cell phone number, address, best time to reach them, etc.)  You are highly encouraged to take a few minutes and review the current book and see what updates are needed. The work you do now will only help improve the book you sell this coming Fall.

At the same time, review any merchants on the App as well. The 2022 merchants will roll off and the new 2023 merchants will go live (early January). Same thing - if a merchant on the app has closed or no longer in business, let Sales@savearound know.  The more up to date the merchants are the better for everyone involved including you.

Fall ‘22 Programs and Closeouts

By now all of the fall groups should either be completed or deferred their sale to Spring ‘22. All Fall groups that ran (August through December ‘22) need to be closed out - like yesterday. Go through the chairperson portal and check the closeout form.  If it is not complete, give your chairperson a call and get the final #’s from them to wrap this up.  The invoice will be sent and any leftover books can be picked up or shipped back.  It is important to wrap up these fall sales quickly and get the invoice processed and payment submitted.  If you need help with this, contact Group Relations or Sales.

Spring Break / Calendar Updates
Do some research NOW to update your calendar with spring break for your school districts. This will come in handy when you are scheduling shipments, deliveries, and running sales this spring.  Also if you work in the high school arena, graduation and year end activities and their corresponding dates would be helpful to have as well.  Field Day events for elementary schools.
