Vol. 22  (47) | 12/02/2022

Wait - what?!?!??!!  Did you say Spring?  We just turned up the heat, broke out the long-johns and located the heavy winter coat as temperatures are falling. As you know, the school year is divided into two main seasons following the semester system - Fall and Spring.  While the “term” spring doesn’t mean warm weather and blooming flowers in the dead of winter, it does mean that Spring Contracts are due NOW!!!!!

Make sure you are in contact with your spring customers, reserving dates on the calendar, and have a plan to hit the ground running as soon as schools return after the holiday break in December.  Now would be time for these ideal activities during the remaining few weeks of school.  Some schools finish up as early as Friday 12/16 and others will go until 12/20 or 12/21.  Either way, you have a little over 3 weeks to get ‘er done.

Please do not schedule a kickoff on the 2nd or 3rd of January unless we can ship books in December to be stored in the meantime.  Allow time for the warehouse team to get books out when we reopen on Monday, January 2nd.  The last business day to ship books will be Thursday, December 22nd and orders need to be in by noon EST that day.

If you didn’t get a chance to run a Sprint sale in the Fall, NOW is your chance.  Spring sports would be an ideal candidate for this sale option and have limited time before their seasons start up.  Basketball (boys / girls, varsity, jv and freshman teams) are practicing and will begin play very soon.  They would be ideal Sprint candidates.

If you have any questions about how to run a Sprint sale, contact the sales team (sales@savearound.com) and they will be happy to walk you through that process.

Contracts for Spring ‘23 sales need to be turned in NOW to grouprelations@savearound.com.
Think through the inventory that is needed. Hopefully shipping delays will diminish as the holiday shipping season finishes up.

The main sections include:  Videos; Important Forms; Coupon Books; Apparel; First Aid Kits; and Newsletters. You are encouraged to visit this site often as the materials you need will be located there and you can download them at your convenience.  If there is something you don’t see or think should be on this website, please contact sales@savearound.com and let the team know what is missing.

Profit Checks

Some groups do their sale as “online only” while others have a high volume of online purchases.  Sometimes the online sales exceed the cash and check sales. In that case, a profit check would be requested and sent to the group. Make sure that the field on the Agreement for the profit check is filled out.  This includes WHO to make the check payable to (i.e. booster club, the school itself, the club name, etc) plus the mailing address for payment. This will help expedite the profit check at the conclusion of their sale. If you have any questions about profit checks or need assistance, please email the team:  grouprelations@savearound.com.
