Time is quickly passing and Fall sports are already in summer practices and scrimmages. The end is nearing for summertime workouts and off-season is coming to a close. As school resumes and fall sports gear up it will be full steam ahead for sports like football, volleyball, golf, tennis, cross country, field hockey, water polo, and cheerleading. Right now you only have a few weeks left to get in touch with these coaches and try to get something on the books ASAP. This can be during the end of summer workouts now that their teams are finalized and rosters are confirmed or perhaps at the beginning of the season or a “bye” week where focus could shift to fundraising quickly and then right back on the season at hand.
Remember that these teams will be comprised of several levels - Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshmen - boys and girls - and all of these groups NEED FUNDS!!!!
You could run a traditional sale with them (books in hand) or perhaps you could try the one-hour fundraiser known as the Sprint. A lot of reps use this sale with their sports groups as their time is limited, but coaches like the FOCUS of the sale and it’s quick. These tend to be very successful as this is a focused single hour of fundraising.
Players come with a list of names and phone numbers along with friendly competition among the players (upperclassmen vs. lower classmen; infield vs. outfield; JV vs. Varsity; boys vs. girls, seniors vs everyone else, etc.).
If you haven’t run a Sprint sale you are encouraged to do 2 things. Review the newsletter that includes the interview with Dan Reyome (July 9th) about how he does the Sprint Sales and how he’s been so successful at conducting these quick and easy sales with his teams.
The next step, reach out to the sales team (sales@savearound.com) and they will be happy to review this option with you and get you up to speed on it for your fall sports teams and groups.

Resigns for 2022
As you are calling on groups to re-sign them for Fall 2021 or Spring 2022, it is important that you mark if it is a RETURNING (re-signed group) or a NEW group. This helps us keep the records clean and eliminates setting up duplicate accounts in the system. Additionally, If you have a returning group that uses Saint vs. St. be sure to list it just as it ran last year so we can search in that manner. (Saint Ella School vs. St. Ella School). If you have any questions about re-signs or need assistance, please email the team: grouprelations@savearound.com.
