As the Fall fundraising season comes to a close, it is a good idea to take time out to evaluate and reflect on these past few weeks. Ask yourself, how did your fall go? Was it productive or just so-so? Did you hit your goals? Did you have any super successful groups? Any lackluster ones? Any groups that needed to move from Fall to Spring?
Look back over your list of active groups and evaluate the following items: What was the average sale per student seller? How many total books were sold per group? How long did their sale
run? Was it a traditional sale? Online sale? Sprint sale? Engaged chairperson (or not so much)? Frequent electronic communications and reminders? Did they have a constant social media presence?
Think through the successful sales and how you can replicate that in the Spring season. As you plan for Spring answer the following questions:
1.Amount of money I need to generate to hit my financial goals 2.# of groups needed to run 3.# of books (avg) to sell per group 4.# of weeks for Spring season (how many groups to kickoff each day or week)
Try to pull the good and successful items from your Fall groups and replicate those again in the Spring. Remember Spring tends to wrap up sooner because of year end activities (prom, graduation, etc.) so you need to hit the ground HARD and run full steam ahead as
soon as possible in early January. You need to have a four month plan (Jan - Apr) while factoring in days out of school, inclement weather, etc
HOLIDAY OFFICE CLOSURE
The last regular business day for 2022 will be Thursday, December 22nd. All shipments need to be requested no later than noon EST to be processed that afternoon. The SaveAround corporate offices and warehouse will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays beginning Friday, December 23rd. We will remain closed the week of December 26th for the holidays and for inventory. Our offices will reopen on Monday, January 2nd.
FINAL SHIPMENTS FOR 2022
All coupon book orders must be received by Group Relations no later than
Thursday, December 22nd at 12:00 EST in order to process and ship out that afternoon. Any orders received after noon EST will not be processed until January 2023. If you have any questions about final shipments for 2022, contact the Group Relations Team grouprelations@savearound.com.
