Holidays have come and gone and hopefully they were fun, festive and healthy for you and yours.  Time to get back at it.  The Spring season is shortened as compared to fall due to lots of year end activities that basically consume all or most of the month of May.  So realistically there are 4 months available to “make it happen” (don’t forget Spring Break and the Easter holiday).
Couple of things to think about as you are signing groups for Spring 2022:

A. Spring sports (baseball, softball, soccer) are prime targets since they are already formed, conditioning, and practices will start very soon.  Seasons will start in February or March so January is ideal for fundraising for the upcoming season and expenses associated with it and this year’s team.

B. Spring trips (clubs and grades or schoolwide) are coming back.  As travel opportunities expand and increase so do the groups who need to fundraising to go to Washington, D.C., other local landmarks or destinations within driving distance of the school.  Transportation, lodging, and meals are still valid expenses that groups need to cover.

C. Fall groups that rolled over to Spring  These groups didn’t get to fundraise this past fall for a variety of reasons and so they are chomping at the bit and raring to get started.  This should be at the top of your list to get them going ASAP.

D. Football, Cheerleaders, and Band - wait what??!?!?  Those are fall groups.  Yes, they are, but you will have incoming freshmen who will join the team this coming fall and will be part of the team this Spring (i.e. conditioning, summer workouts, and fundraisers).  Band will be the same way with concert performances this Spring and incoming freshmen joining in for band camp this summer.  Cheerleaders may be a year-round group as some have competition level cheer and others will have JV and Varsity squads, too.

Make sure you are in contact with them NOW and get a date on the calendar for something to run this spring with these groups.

Just a quick reminder to send paperwork, contracts, questions, etc. to the Team Mailboxes instead of individual staff members. Team boxes are generally covered by more than one person and will expedite your requests.

Spring Contracts

As you continue to hit the ground running and sign more groups to run this Spring, here are a few reminders regarding Spring ‘22 contracts and the procedures:

  • Please allow 48-72 hours for processing and getting coupon books shipped out.  Anything that needs to go out “same day” needs to be submitted by noon eastern time.  This is not guaranteed, but chances increase if plenty of time is allowed for the warehouse team to get the shipment out the door.

Make sure you ask for the online link (www.sapaynow.com/(group #) and share that with

1. Snowflakes have six sides.

2. Snow warms you up. 90-95% trapped air is a great insulator.

3. Snow affects sound.

4. Yodeling will not cause an avalanche.

5. Snow is translucent in color - not actually “white”.
