Wait…..did you say Spring??!?!? Well .. we just launched into October and there are thoughts of pumpkin spice, crisp fall weather, football games. s’mores, and bonfires. Not spring?!?!
Well, from a planning perspective it IS time to think about spring. With only 46 days and counting for Fall sales to run and conclude, NOW is the time to think about Spring sales and those groups that could potentially run starting in January 2022.
Here are a few ideas for potential sports groups to target for next Spring:
Badminton
Lacrosse
Cheer / Dance (competition level)
Baseball
Track and field
Softball
Swimming/Diving
Fencing
Tennis
Golf
Bowling
Other clubs / groups / classes might include:
FFAMusic Department
Juniors
DECABand (jazz, wind ensemble, orchestra)
Seniors
Theatre
Chorus (choral, glee club)
OK, now you’ve identified the groups that need to fundraise. What are some needs that you can quickly identify that are needed right away? What are some upcoming events where funds are needed immediately?
Sports Teams

Travel
Uniforms
Tournaments / competitions / Entry fees

Classes
Juniors - Prom and related activities
Seniors - Trip, graduation, and related activities
This goes back to being prepared and doing your homework. If you go in with some ideas or suggestions then the pitch for fundraising is going to be better received. Be the expert. Know your audience. Be prepared to help them. Then pull out your bag of tricks with fundraising products to help meet those needs and achieve those goals for that team, club, or class.

Keep in mind that the following information is important to ensure an on time delivery of books. Dates - kickoff date and notes if books need to arrive early Sellers - # of sellers in the group - this also determines the # of books that are initially sent Prize - list prizes in the notes section Contact information - email and cell phone numbers for the contact person is critical Which book - VERY important as some ICs can sell multiple markets. Don’t make us guess. Profit % - traditional sales are 50% and online sales are 40%. Complete the contract and send it into grouprelations@savearound.com
