As the final days and week or weeks of school wraps up, here is a quick checklist of things to do before you take a holiday break:
Invoices and Closeouts
Double check to be sure ALL fall groups are closed out.
Make sure all fall groups have been invoiced.
Any groups invoiced to date, but not paid please follow up with the group chairperson and/or the bookkeeper.
Midweek, send in a request to the group relations team asking for the invoice to be re-sent.
Holidays
Send a note or email or Christmas card (or something) to your Fall Sponsors thanking them for their business. A small gesture or token of appreciation goes a LONG way when building these long term relationships.
Organize and declutter. Take some time to work on those office files - get things up to date, move files from Fall 22 to Spring 23. Work on a hot list of prospects for Spring (potential) business.
Enjoy time with family and friends. Take time to unwind, relax and breathe. Make some terrific memories and enjoy some downtime if possible.
Spring 2023
Review January 2023 contracts.
Make sure everything has been submitted for January kickoffs.
Anything starting Jan 2 - 6 make sure the books ship out by 12/22/2022.
Sprint Sales
Take time now to work on setting up one or two Sprint Sales for Spring ‘23. Sports teams are GREAT prospects because they can get the fundraising knocked out before the season starts in late February or early March (thinking baseball and/or softball). A January Sprint sale would be perfect for a quick sale to generate some funds for their upcoming season. If you have questions about the Sprint sale or how to run it, please contact sales@savearound.com.
