With the extra hour thanks to daylight saving time switching over, you will gain an extra hour of daylight. How will you use that time? Here are a few ideas:
Make a list of target summer groups (summertime sports & non-school groups).
Follow up with all active groups to get a status report.
Begin the closeout process for any groups that kicked off in January or February.
Follow up with any unpaid groups from Fall ‘23.
Keep Sales and Group Relations updated with any groups that need attention.
Work on any remaining re-signs for Spring ‘24.
Schedule at least one Sprint 1-hour sale this Spring.
Review the merchants in your book and let us know about any updates needed.
Download the SaveAround app to your phone and get familiar with it.
Send in a list of prospective Merchants to be added to the 2025 books.
If you have everything in order with your groups, here are some things you can do:
Walk for 30 minutes or an hour to clear your head and get some fresh air
Meditate or spend some quiet alone time and focus on your breathing.
Write a thank you note or two to chairpersons - mail out at the end of the sale.
Clean out and organize your vehicle. Run it through the car wash.
Plan a summer vacation.
Re-signs for Spring ‘24 and Fall ‘25
Continue to work on any groups that have not run (yet) and get them committed for either this Spring ‘24 or next Fall ‘25. Make sure all of your paperwork is completed and emailed into grouprelations@savearound.com with a copy to sales@savearound.com.
Closeout Forms / Email Needed
Just a reminder that when you save the information entered into the closeout form, it does not automatically update the Enterprise system, nor does it alert the Group Relations team to do the same. So, when the closeout is completely updated and finished, send a quick email to grouprelations@savearound.com to let the team know it’s updated. This will alert the Group Relations Team to update Enterprise to match the closeout information, ship any needed books, and officially close out the group upon receipt of payment.
2025 Merchants (old and new)
Take a few minutes and go through one of your sample copies of the market or markets you sell. If you don’t have a book handy, get online and look at the e-book. The 2025 books are underway and if there are businesses in the book that have closed we need to update the files. On the flipside, if there are new businesses that have opened NOW is the time to contact them. Remember this takes TIME to reach the correct decision maker or person in authority to go through the terms of the contract and coupon requirements.
We need to know about the CLOSURES first. Please send us any merchants/businesses that have closed and need to be removed from the book. We need these ASAP.
Please send an email to sales@savearound.com. Gather as much info as this will only help expedite the process. (Contact name, title, email address, cell phone number, address, best time to reach them, etc.) So take a few minutes and review the current book and see what updates are needed. Work done now will only help improve the book for this Fall.
